The 100-Day Writing Project

Published by Nikki on

Did I ever imagine I’d host a project as this?

No.

But it happened.

Did I ever expect such a great response?

No, again.

And I couldn’t be happier.

The 100-Day writing project is our first-ever program in our writers’ community – Creative Inner Circle. Everybody is so excited to be a part of this and I’m even more excited to be reading all your posts on the wall.

A few days before, whilst I was browsing through some online videos, I heard someone mention “A 100-day project”. I was instantly intrigued by the idea and wanted to implement it. But the only thing I didn’t know is how so many writers would join me in this. Otherwise, it was meant to be a solo project.

And practically speaking, it seemed a rather big commitment. Imagine, 100 days, writing every day without fail. I wasn’t sure even I could be that committed, let alone hosting for a whole bunch of writers. But having a community helped me stay focused.

I always dreamed of building a community that is supportive to each other, a happy place to be ourselves uninhibitedly. I definitely consider this as my first step towards that dream. And I can see that how every member in the community already is so supportive and kind.

So what actually happens inside the community?

I post a writing cue every single day and the writers will start working on that. In fact, I just posted a writing prompt for today, day 4 of the challenge. It began on May 1st.

They will also share their writing in the group welcoming feedback and also appreciate what other writers have written.

Late, each member will submit their pieces to me through Google sheets provided.
